The Enter the Dragon tournament has started. The opening moves are: 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 g6 6.Be3 Bg7 7.f3 0-0 8.Qd2 Nc6. Theory seems to split here between 9.0-0-0 and 9.Bc4, so we will let the engines figure out what they like.

The contestants are: Deep Rybka 4.1 SSE42 x64, Houdini 2.0b Pro x64, Stockfish 2.1.1 JA x64, and IvanHoe 47c GH x64. G/4 hours, with both sides switching sides for a total of 12 games. The hardware is an AMD Phenom II 1100T 6-core @ 3.9 GHz, with 16 GBs memory.

The opening moves were: 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bb5 a6 4 Ba4 Nf6 5 O-O Be7 6 Re1 b5 7 Bb3 O-O 8 c3 d6 9 h3 Na5 10 Bc2 c5 11 d4 Qc7 12 Nbd2 cxd4.
The contestants were: Critter 1.2 x64 SSE4, Houdini Pro 2 x64, IvanHoe 47c GH x64, and Deep Rybka 4.1 x64.
The time control was G/4 hours. It was a round-robin, and each engine switched sides.
The computer was an AMD Phenom II 1100T, 6-core @ 3.9GHz, with 16 GBs memory.

Interesting facts: There were 7 wins in this tournament, and all 7 came from White, even though the evaluations of this position are about equal (0.00 - +0.04) in online databases and the commercial ones I own. The only engine to not lose to Houdini when Houdini had White was IvanHoe.
